This beautiful, mellow trail begins at the Thredbo River parking area on Kosciuszko Road, around 9.3km from Jindabyne. It follows a steel walkway along the river, weaving beneath tall trees with several places to stop for photos or a breather. The trail leads to the Gaden Trout Hatchery, which offers a fascinating look at the region’s trout and salmon breeding programs. Many guests combine the ride with a visit. From the hatchery, riders can continue onto the lower section of the Thredbo Valley Track, extending their adventure all the way through to Bullocks Flat.
